  THOMAS (Library of Congress)
This section of the Library of Congress web site (named after Thomas Jefferson) was launched in January of 1995, at the inception of the 104th Congress. The leadership of the 104th Congress directed the Library of Congress to make federal legislative information freely available to the public.  When visiting this web site, if you click on the "Congressional Record" link on the left side of the page, you can look up legislation by any U.S. Senator or member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
  United States Congress
A list of all members of Congress.  There are two houses (chambers) of Congress.  One house is referred to as the House of Representative and has 435 members.  The other house is referred to as the Senate.

  Project Vote Smart
Project Vote Smart provides easy access to Congressional and State voting records and maintains a collection of key votes grouped by issue. Key votes typically include the initial passage of legislation and final conference report vote versions (the compromised versions of bills passed in separate House and Senate version).
(Personal Note:  When a candidate is running for reelection, go to this web site to find out how they actually voted on an issue instead of relying on them telling you the truth in their campaign advertisements and speeches.)
